Our cellar door is small and personal, set inside a converted shipping container beside the winery. It is a quiet space made for good conversations, simple tastings and a closer look at how each wine takes shape.

A visit with Matt is relaxed and informative. You’ll hear how the wines are made, what we look for each season and the small decisions that guide every vintage.

At Smidge we keep things simple, thoughtful and personal. Your tasting is shaped around how you like to explore a glass.

Individual Wine Flight. A relaxed way to settle in. Enjoy a curated flight of wines at your own pace. The fee is redeemable on any purchase of three bottles or more. $30 pp (bookings essential)

Behind The Scenes Barrel Tasting. A winemaker’s view. Taste wine as we do in the winery. Drawn straight from barrel. See how vineyard, weather and quiet decisions shape the wine.

No experience is the same with each tailored to your interests and questions. $250pp

Blind Tasting Challenge. If you enjoy a challenge, this is for you. You will taste from black glasses and rely on scent, structure and instinct. You receive two wines, side by side, and guidance from your host. You can enter your answers on variety, region and vintage. $50 Bookings are essential. Maximum group size is four.

We don’t have a restaurant at the winery, but there are some wonderful local spots close by and we’re always happy to point you in the right direction.
