The ‘S’ is a selection of the best Barossa Valley Shiraz barrels determined during the classification trials of a particular vintage. Barossa Valley Shiraz is matured in French oak and those selected are matured for two years at the Smidge winery in the McLaren Vale, before being blended.

We are pleased to release our first Flagship Cabernet Sauvignon from our home block in Willunga, McLaren Vale. Named ‘Akeringa’ in honour of the winery originally built on and associated with our now estate vineyard, this 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon has been carefully nurtured in 100% new French oak.
