Where We Ship
We ship Australia wide using trusted freight partners. For international enquiries, please contact us at cellardoor@smidgewines.com.
Delivery Timeframes
Wine is shipped from our winery in McLaren Vale. Typical delivery times are:
- SA: 1 to 3 business days
- VIC and NSW: 3 to 7 business days
- QLD, TAS, WA and NT: 5 to 10 business days
Rural and remote areas may take a little longer. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are shown at checkout and vary by location and order size. From time to time we offer seasonal shipping specials, including $1 freight windows for S Select members.
Order Handling
We pack each order by hand at the winery to help ensure every bottle arrives safely. Orders placed before 12 pm ACST are usually dispatched the same or next business day.
Warm Weather Protection
If temperatures are high, we may delay shipping to protect your wine. If this affects your order, we will contact you with options.
Delivery Instructions
You can add delivery notes at checkout. If no one is home, the courier may leave the parcel in a safe place or card for collection, depending on the service used in your area.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your wines as soon as they arrive. If they are damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us immediately at cellardoor@smidgewines.com so we can resolve the issue promptly.
All refunds and exchanges are made in line with our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Terms of Use.
Missing Deliveries
If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please email us and we will follow up with the courier on your behalf.
